Because the home-building process is so personal, we begin with getting to know our customers and building a relationship so that we can help with the planning and designing of the home. Our new home sales specialist will listen to your ideas and help design a home that meets your needs and expresses your style and tastes. Townsend Homes has many designs and we also draw custom plans at no extra charge. After establishing a budget and pre-qualifying with the bank or mortgage company, we continue working to refine the design of your home. Once the design is complete and meets the customer's satisfaction, our draft department gets the final plans ready. A plan review is held shortly after to ensure that the design and all options are correct and select colors, flooring and appliances.The project will be assigned to one of our superintendents and he will conduct a pre-job conference with you to finalize all details of the home and building process. Construction of your new home will generally begin within a week of the pre-job conference. Your superintendent will be available throughout the building process and will schedule a walk through/orientation when your home is complete.
